Caesar Pockets
We mad these on Monday night and they were soo good and very easy to make. We did not have a red pepper but used green instead and they were still very good. You can also find this recipe at kraftfoods.com
4 cups torn romaine lettuce
6 oz. (2/3 of 9-oz. pkg.) Shaved Smoked Turkey Breast, cut into strips
1/4 cup drained roasted red pepper strips (I used green)
3 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup Classic Caesar Dressing
4 pita breads, warmed, cut in half
TOSS lettuce with turkey, peppers, cheese and dressing.
SPOON into pitas.
Thats it, its that simple. Estimated time was 10 minutes, but I think it took shorter than that! Enjoy!

My poor poor cooking blog
I have forgotten about you, I am sorry to admit. But times have been extremely hectic and I have not had the time to cook let alone even bake. However, we are going to try this year and cook more and eat more healthy. So far so good I think.
Well last night I made this really good French Toast. Trying something new, plus we had all the ingredients right at home, which was nice. It is really simple and pretty quick to make.
5 Cups bread cubes (1/2 of a regular size loaf)
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar, divided
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 TB butter
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease an 8X8 baking dish. Line the bottom of the pan with read cubs. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, 2TB of sugar, the salt and vanilla. Pour the mixture over the bread. Dot with butter. Let stand for 10 minutes. Combine the remaining sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, until top is golden. Serve with syrup and fresh fruit.

Its been to long
Wow time goes by so fast. But at the same time so slow. Anyways I have been very busy. I have been cooking and baking a lot this summer. I have a lot to show you. I hope to get that all posted very soon.
Well for Labor day we went to my brothers house and had a great time. I made something very yummy. I don't have a name for it. I just made it up. I guess it can be called Chocolate Strawberry Angel food trifle.
Chocolate Strawberry Angel Food Trifle (very easy to make)
1 large box of instant pudding mix
1 angel food cake
strawberries (I used frozen because they were cheaper)
Then I just added layers
first angel food then pudding then strawberries. It was so so easy peasy!
If you don't cook or bake you should still try this out!
